You can't really "get" someone to like you, but you can put yourself in situations where a girl can get to know you, and maybe that would lead to something more. Be friendly and open. Don't be afraid to strike up a conversation with someone you're interested in. A lot of girls on here say "I think this guy likes me but he seems kind of shy." If you like someone, show it, and if she's not interested, move on.

It's all good and well to say be yourself, but let's face it...your 18 and probably have little idea of who that is yet.
What kinds of things do you have to offer? Are you a musician? do you write poetry? read a lot?
You should have something about you that is interesting and articulate that interests a woman.
Being 18 and playing Grand Theft Auto for 10 hrs a day is not going to close the deal...if you know what I mean.
So, in short...have something that is interesting about yourself to offer the opposite sex.

Andrew be yourself.....don't try to change for anyone...be true to you! Also it wouldn't hurt at your age to have a car and a little cash to take a cute honey out!!! LOL-

Just be yourself & one of these days, the right gal will sweep you off your feet. Be a good listener & treat her as you'd like to be treated. Great rule of thumb. No need to put on airs, just be you.
