Mine's "Lahavle". An Arab friend taught it to me. It means "to increase endurance against difficulties faced, and to suppress rising anger when forced to the limits of patience". I had it engraved on a pendent on my necklace.

I will not be limited by the expectations of others - or my own.

It means that I will always go beyond what is expected of me; that I will seek more than the minimum I need to accomplish the task; that I will expand my horizons beyond what others - and I, myself - think is possible so that I can continue to evolve and realize my full potential.

I feel I have miracles everyday. Some just greater than others. The biggest miracle however was the night my son was strangled to the point that another second and I would not have him in my life anymore. Every day I look at him I re live that miracle! Also it was a miracle that I did not hunt his assailant down. God has given me an inner peace over the matter. Thats another great miracle.

Mine is "i don't care, they don't know me, and i probably won't see them again."
especially when i'm out with friends, or husband, they seem to get embarrassed or shy in public. they don't want to be the first on the dance floor, don't want to hold hands for a long time, don't want to something. and i always am the first to try.
i live by this motto, b/c why should i worry about what others think of me. i'm living my life, they are not, and they definatly do not define who i am as a person. being polite and nice and reserved is one thing, but caring about what they will think of you for being a little spontanous or outgoing is not how i want to live like.

Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around, you might miss it.

If your life is going good, enjoy it while you can, for it will change for the worse.

If your life is going badly, have patience, it will change for the better.

All things must pass.......
