That should be Floyd Mayweather's next fight. Hatton, Margarito, and Williams would get schooled. There is no reason for a rematch against De La Hoya to take place. Folks don't believe what he says about retiring. Floyd has been talking retirement after his last three fights. Agree or disagree?

MAYWEATHER SHOULD FIGHT BOTH FIGHTERS

I like cotto to beat mayweather. i believe if he were to fight mosely it would be another close call (like with de la hoya) and mosely would probably get screwed on the decision (like de la hoya did).

besides cotto is very skilled and i dont think mayweather can beat him. I'd love to see another 24/7 but this time with cotto and mayweather and listen to mayweather talk his BS and then have cotto school HIM.

that would be comedy.

hatton has a good shot at beating mayweather in my opinion. as i've answered in other questions on here i like cotto over the other choices.

Mayweather probably wont retire. I think he's just saying so THIS time (not like the last three times) because he wants to get back down to 147 because he knows he cant really compete with these guys at 154. De la hoya beat him in my opinion and de la hoya is out of his prime. so a good young fighter and 154 could clock mayweather pretty easily.

I think Mosley would be to quick for Cotto. Clottey was taking Cotto to school before he got injured. Speed kills and Mosley has speed to spare. There is too much money to be made by Shane in the next couple years, fiancially it would be a mistake to retire this early. Mosley would soleve Mayweather, and easily beat Margarito. Ricky Hatton is the weakest of the money fights, and Shane would destroy Hatton. Shane is in the cat bird seat and he can write his own ticket.

I don't think Miguel Cotto is ready to fight mayweather at this time, and I don't think Bob Arum of Top Rank thinks he's ready either, even though body punching is his specialty, he already has Margarito lined up (if he beats williams) in fall, I think Mosley vs. Mayweather would be a great match!

Of course there should be a rematch I think Oscar will do what he should have done the first time and I think that FLOYD should fight Sugar Shane Mosely, then we can say FLOYD got his mouth closed for him.

i think cotto would probably get manhandled as well, because floyd's speed and counterpunching would force cotto away from the inside, which is where he'd need to win the fight...and i don't think floyd will retire, but it will be interesting to see when a big name offers a shot for floyd to return
