Did you encounter any unexpected obstacles? I always try to take the time to reflect upon it and how I might have done things differently. How do you close the day?

i ended up the day staring at the monito---ZZZZzzz...

Well it's gone okay. I got up this morning and Thanked God for the day and upon my routine throughout the day I started thinking a bit negative and so I confessed my mental attitude and asked him to enlighten me, and then I pretty well had a good day typing along and talking here and there. I will end the day helping my boys with their homework, making dinner and all of us saying our prayers, me putting the boys to bed and doing some spiritual reading and thanking him for the day once again.

Well Today has not been so good for me I found out this morning that my fiancve who is over in Iraq will not be home in August like he was supposed to be he got 3 more months added on and spiritually it helps me depend on God quite a bit more for him to come home safely and to make us make it though this difficult time for the both of us (he has been gone for 9 months already) Though it makes me a stronger woman its still harder than ever and I close the day by praying to God for his safety and to help me through this devastating news

My day was great until my mom came home from dialysis. She was in a bad mood, but I know its because she does not feel good afterwards.
Spiritually, I failed because I was mentally complaining but I didn't stay there, I just keep remembering to not be weary of well-doing to keep me going and check my selfish attitude.
She is much better now even though she did not like the dinner I cooked for her and let me know it.
I close my day with constantly asking God to help me be the way He wants me to be in this situation. Attitude of love is everything.

I've got a slight headache but I'll survive.
I'm not spiritual.
Unexpected obstacles? Ummmmm... nope, nothing unexpected.
I close the day by spending time on Y!A R&S.

Well Deb, it was like being in hell. I went to church for the first time in 17 years. As I listened to the sermon it really felt like the red headed spaghetti monster Atheists speak too. So I went home and went in the sweat lodge. I did feel a little better, but it was like the Spirits did not come to help. But I did get some messages and such. This women I am sorted of interested in was at the church earlier, and asked if her brother could go sweat with me. He had rings in his nose and in his ears. I told him we usually do not wear metal in the lodge and that we do ot desecrate our bodies, only for spiritual purposes like Sun Dance. Sun Dance is sort of like suffering for the People, giving your body for others, cause it is all we own. But, I do not feel to good. I still believe in a higher power but not my best day today. Anyhow, I went to see if the guy still wanted to visit, when I went to their house it smelled bad and ewwwwww. So I suppose, God at Church did show me, this is not the gal for me. I also felt I was to go and check on the guy. I sort of felt some guilt for being too honest. Today I had a message from a young friend who is sort of like a daughter. She said she felt blessed to have me for her friend. So, I felt good, at least I served a good person for someone, n matter how bad my personal pain is. So, I usually end the day by praying and sending my hurts into the Sun. And in the morning, pray for a good day at Sun up. My belief is God is in everything but looks through the Sun......

I've scattered seeds. I have given love.
That is all I can do.
If I am to grow further, it requires the love of others.
But none volunteer to share that journey with me.
This is how I close each day: alone and unloved.
And it is how each day begins.

I have been working and my day has been going smoothly, thank you.
I have not had any spiritual highs or lows today, I try to keep my contact regular with the Man in the Upstairs.
I close my day oftentimes here at the Answers. I pray too. : )

First of all; welcome back!
As with many days; they could be better, but they could be a whole lot worst too. 3:00 PM prayer said (Acts 3:1, Christ died about 3:00 PM). The way I see it; Any day the Lord makes is a beautiful day!!!

worked all night - slept all day - now having coffee and trying to pass the time till I have to go back work in a few hours! sorry , no spiritual stuff sooo far!
