Yes, we are saved by grace of our faith least any man shall boast. However faith is dead without works. Jesus said I am not come to destroy the prophecy but to fulfill it. He also told us to "love God with all our hearts minds and souls. He gave us other commandments however if you do this you do them all. The others are love your neighbor as yourself and feed my sheep. There is also Judge not least you shall be judged. The prophets lists other things we should not do. The bible says that if you really are walking with god his commandments will be written in your hearts. It also says All scripture is inspired by god for god. If you commit one sin you have committed them all, is also what it says. Which pretty much means none of us are any better than the rest. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of god. The only way it's going to change is if we have faith and change. There is all kinds of misleading information out there. It is my suggestion that you do not depend on others to see the truth. Instead read your bible. Study it. If you really are interested you will. Also the bible says if someone tells us something about the bible to make them PROVE IT. Also people say believe in Christ. Well if you do that you believe what he is saying. Do yourself a favor study that too. So many people say he is god. He says, "This means everlasting life taking in accurate knowledge of the father and the son. Just remember we are people. People misinterpert things. Then they say it for fact.

Since your profile does not state anything about you I have to assume that English is not your first language or you are a recent graduate of the US public school system. But I digress.

There is no such thing as good deeds outweighing bad deeds in the Bible.

There is only one:

John 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Good deeds cannot save anyone (Rom. 4:5, Titus 3:5, Eph. 2:8-9)

Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

The Holy Bible does not use a measuring stick,we are asked to follow the commandments and especially love our neighbors.
We are saved by grace,it is a free gift.

Even though we can not be saved by our works, the Bible does tell us "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." Rev 20:13. Naturally does one who posess Christ in the heart do the works of Him who dwells within. It is very sad when much of professed christendom claim legalism any time that works is confessed to be the thing that it is, necessary and good.

Actually, a sin is a sin and a good deed is a good deed. To be a Christian, it's not about doing good deeds all the time, it's about having a relationship with God.
