I am a generally happy person that does alot of good for my family, friends, and boyfriend. In fact, I overextend myself by making myself almost ALWAYS available (even if I am busy) for them. I find that they do the same for me, but it is here-and there and usually rushed on there part. I hat e confrontation so I usually put up with it. All of this stress as well as the mixture of this weird whether had probally made me sick and habe diarrhea at times. I also have 3 jobs and I am in school, etc. I take a large chewable viatmin almost every morning. i get pretty good sleep on-and-off as well. Any suggestions before I loose my mind? Thank you! :(

Well, stress is known to compromise the immune system, so my best guess is what you've already guessed yourself: that you're under too much stress.
I understand hating confrontation. Still, you have to protect yourself. Saying no isn't selfish; actually it's self-preserving. Saying no to some of these demands will help you fulfill other demands more effectively.
Try telling people "no, I'm sorry. I'd like to help, but I can't this time." If you keep it short like that it allows less room for people to push back. You don't really owe anyone an explanation -- just tell them you'd like to help but can't right now, end of story. People will back off.
If you are feeling consistently upset, maybe see a doctor or therapist to find out if there is a physical or mental health issue. If you continue getting physically sick, definitely see your general pracitioner.
Good luck -- I hope you feel better soon!

As a senior in high school, I am going through the exact same thing. I am on every club, I have a boy friend, friends, family, and a job. I started gettting sick almost everyday. I found hat If i could put a little time aside for myself, it helped. Even if it's just an hour to take a bath, it should releive the tension. Having too much stress in your life can make you extremely sick.
Also, if that doesn't help, you should see a doctor. you might feel like you're happy, but you can be depressed. All that means is that you have a chemical imballance in your body. This can also be caused by stress.
I hope this helps you out.

Hey make sure your not over exerting yourself. Sometimes a little tlc and time by yourself is good, so you can recharge. In addition to vitamins, I also take echinacea when I think I'm getting sick. A little exercise and cardio could also help a lot. Good Luck!

Eat a healthy, balanced diet starting with a solid breakfast, avoid sugar and caffeine. I have a feeling you skip breakfast or eat something like a diet cereal, and eat mostly sugary foods during the day-- you grab a Special K bar or something as a meal.

Don't you already know the answer? You want and need to ask your family (not confront, ASK) that you can't always do things for them between your three jobs and school. Just keep yourself together, stand strong, and LISTEN to your family. They'll understand, and I can't see them not understanding. Good Luck:)

you need to learn your limits and then learn to respect yourself by saying no. No one can be there all the time for any reason, that is simply silly, it is not acheivable, and all you end up doing is making yourself feel bad because inevitably what has happened to you happens. You become resentful, you become tired and burned out. LEARN TO SAY NO.
