I would only use 1 or 2 teaspoons at the most since a little of that goes a long way. In fact, I would stay closer to towards the 1 teaspoon, but that's me.
Give your sauce a taste to see if you want to put more in. You can always add more, it's more difficult to take too much out.

Start with a 1/2 tsp, then add by 1/8 teaspoon until you get the flavor you want; I would add no more than 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. Liquid smoke is STRONG!

That stuff is really strong, start with a 1/8th teaspoon mix well and taste from there. it is very easy to go too heavy on that stuff. Remember, you can always add more, but the converse is not true.

Start with a half teaspoon. You want a subtle smokey back flavor, not one that overwhelms the palate. Go easy, you can always add more. Heat it up, taste it and go from there. I cook by smell, but that doesn't work for others.

do a teaspoon at a time and then taste. be careful cause that stuff is very strong. Remember it's easier to add more than to remove a little

about 1/2 teaspoon. It's fairly potent! Too much makes it taste funny...test it. If it needs more, do it in 1/4 t. amounts. Sounds yummy!!
