my friends were saying that most guys dont buy drinks anymore. they say all guys want is to have one night stands. is that true?

First of all if you weren't interested in her then why would you buy her drink. The only reason why guys should buy girls drink is because the girls becomes more interested in the guy and she starts to see the guy is a gentlemen which some girls do like but it's really like nature because you know how ladies goes first well guys gotta buy

No, not all guys want one night stands. Yes, there are a good portion, but not all are like that.
As for men buying women drinks in bars. Probably the reason why it's not done so often anymore is because it's dangerous for a woman to accept a drink from someone they don't know. You never know if it could be laced with something. I will always turn down a drink from a stranger for that reason.

From my experience most of the girls in the clubs where I have been have been too pissed to stand! One more drink may just push them over the edge!

I would wait to see if I had got lucky with a girl first.
I'm not going to go around buying drinks for girls and then get knocked back. That could be an expensive night.

If I like someone I tend to dance with her, start a conversation and then offer a drink if there's a connection.

If you go to a club, you there to have a good time, and with luck, extend that good time after the club closes. It's not the place to go for relationships.
Nightclubs are the Lonely Hearts Club.

in answer to your question and also to gromit - I met the girl who is now my wife in a nightclub, almost 14 years ago, and she bought me a drink first!
So yes you can find a relationship in a nightclub and I would have offered her a drink had she not just been to the bar to get one when I saw her!

I still do that, yeah - But people seem to think its quite old fashioned or whatever - My mates get the girls to buy THEM drinks - how does that work ?!
