Lexapro is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class. It is approved for the treatment of major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder; other indications include social anxiety disorder, panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Escitalopram Lexapro is the S-stereoisomer (enantiomer) of the earlier Lundbeck drug citalopram (Celexa), hence the name (es-citalopram). Escitalopram is noted for its high selectivity of serotonin reuptake inhibition and, as a result, relative mildness of the side effects. The drug is marketed in the US under the name Lexapro by Forest Laboratories and elsewhere under various brand names by Lundbeck.

if you are going to take lexapro as a party drug you might as well just take a couple of m&m's with a glass of water. It'll do the same thing. Lexapro is the weakest medication ever. And who the hell takes anti-depressants as a party drug. What are you 15 years old and going through your mothers pill drawer looking for some quick cash

Lexapro will not make you high. It may make you sleepy. It effects brain chemistry by blocking the re-absorption of serotonin.

When taken for some number of weeks it can begin to relieve depression in some people. It may treat other conditions also.

No, it is not a party drug. It is an anti-anxiety, anti-depression medication. You can never tell what it will do from person to person. Some people get angry, some cry, some just feel detached. You should not sell your prescriptions, and this one will not rake you in any dough.

It is an antidepressant and has sedating side effects. I guess if it were a party drug, it'd be for depressed people going to a slumber party.

No it's an antidepressant and an antianxiety. And from personal experience theres nothing fun about it.

Have you considered a real actual job and becoming a benefit to society instead of dealing?
