You don't need that nutterbutter. Avoid him like the clap. Find somebody who doesn't live his life according to bronze age fairy tales.

Sure. It doesn't mean that you (or your ex) is a bad person. None of us know what God is speaking to your ex. Consider that this may not be about the man. He may have another plan for you...a better plan...but it doesn't include the ex-boyfriend.

Besides, you don't want anyone that doesn't want you. Move on...date...enjoy your life!

I am so sorry for the breakup of your relationship. It sounds like your ex-boyfriend is one colossal coward who can't take responsibility for his own actions. That's got to make it hurt even worse.

No, I don't think it's true that God told him to break up with you. He was looking for an excuse. I've got to say, though...that's the lamest one I've ever heard. You're better off without that sniveling coward.

No. There is no reason to suppose that god exists, let alone had any opinion about the relationship between you and the BF. He simply decided, for whatever reason, to move on.

God supposedly ordained the Crusades too, if you were to ask any 12th century chap. I think God gets blamed for a lot of things he has nothing to do with.

Anything that leads someone to sin against God is agaist God's will -- that includes improper relationships.

It's not a matter of you being a good or bad person, but instead a matter of him doing what's right.

How many times do you think God has heard "I am not a bad person" right before he hears a scream trail off into the depths?

Consider this: You've lost a boyfriend, but you've gained thousands of dollars that you otherwise would have spent on a shrink if you'd stayed with such a lunatic. In my book, that puts you ahead of the game.
