Do not let them worry you my dear. A lot of people whose first language is English, make so many spelling mistakes here.

It is an international site, but posts are required to be written in English. I personally only criticize the spelling of someone who also shows themselves to be closed minded. Some people are just rude and obnoxious. When you encounter these people, just vote them thumbs down and you will not have to read their responses anymore.

There is an ancient saying about mistakes--"Most likely, a stupid person will not notice a mistake, but a smart person will not mention it, for sure."
Someone great once said that the foreigners speaking even the worst English made him feel honored, because they spared him the embarrassment of making a fool of himself in their language.
Thus, to feel better, try to imagine these people attempting to express themselves in your language.
I hope it helps.

I have noticed, on this site as well as others, that the worst English is used by native speakers.
Often the best English is used by people for whom it is a second or even third language.
Please do not let those rude people bother you.
Ask them to write anything in a language not their own, and they can not.

Actually this site is for English speaking people but I have come across people writing messages in Arabic, Spanish, French, German and of course American!
So I suggest write anything you want as long as you don't swear or abuse other people.
Hope this helps and it it does vote for it and I will put you in my FANS list!!
There is a link for ANSWERS INTERNATIONAL if this of any help. I use American link from time to time but as I am based in London, UK I prefer to keep it nice and simple!!

Firstly, try "whose" next time. As to your question, you only have to read some of the questions to realise that the questioners don't speak English very well - but whether it's their first language or not is open to question: you just can't tell. We all hope however that all questions and answers will be rendered in some form of English.

If this particular section were limited to people of English mother tongue we simply wouldn't be able to cope! Don't take any notice of those people who are so rude about your spelling: it is usually a mark of having nothing constructive to say themselves.

All you have to do is go to the bottom of this page, and click on a flag and then Yahoo! Answers will be completely in that language.
