kids bodies change in a few months easy. You should only walk or cut down on junk foods since you're so young. Ask your doctor and never take pills or drink shakes. Just be more active if you're healthy otherwise. I was 5'2" and 108 and thought that was huge til I got older. Now I only wish I was 120!! I'm still 5'2". I always ate less chips but ate alot of normal dinners and breakfast (cereal) and thinned out easy. Not everyone is the same though. Now I have to move my body to slim down. Dancing really did it for me as a teen too! Dance in your room. Kids make fun of everything. If you get too thin they'll make fun of you then too. Just know that we all grow up and someday, those kids will get gigantic fat and you can know they learned a lesson!!! I made fun of a kid with asthma. He really had it bad and now my 3rd kid has asthma so bad I never get sleep when she has attacks. It all comes around!!!

Stop eating junk food. This includes fast food and anything down that chip, candy, soda and cookie isle. There are many healthy snacks that are easy to make a tastes really good.

Eat nothing past six in the evening. Your metabolism slows in the evening. Your body needs less energy so everything you eat will be stored as fat. If you feel hungry drink a large glass of water. Sometimes your body just needs water. Or eat a low calorie snack like Jello, low-fat or fat-free pudding or drink a glass of low-fat milk an hour or so before bed.

Frankly, you are do for a growth spurt, and your body is naturally preparing for it.

Unless your family doctor is addressing you as "technically obese" causing health problems, there is nothing for you to do but be healthy and grow up.

Regardless, you should eat good foods and not gorge. Also, you should exercise and be active, but you don't have to start a work out program to loose weight. Just stay active.

Your body will use up that energy it has stored as fat as soon as you start into your growth spurt. One night you will go to bed feeling normal, and when you wake up, your pants will be too short and your face will look thinner.

Let it happen, but take of yourself in the process. Which means no overeating, and no dieting - unless instructed by a physician.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

24.1 is a healthy, normal BMI. You are not overweight. You are not fat. I would recommend that you find a sport or some other physical activity that you really like and are good at, and focus on spending your time doing that. If you can find something you really like to do, your body will be healthy and strong, and you'll enjoy it for what it can do and focus less on what it looks like. Although it sounds to me like you're beautiful.

Don't spend time with people who make fun of you; those people are not your friends. People who make you feel bad and are mean to you are just saying those things to try to make themselves feel better, and the things they say are signs that they are insecure, not signs that there is anything wrong with you. Please, please try not to take their comments too hard.

I know that this is a very tough time in life for people your age, and 11 year olds and teens can be really mean to one another for really no good reason. It's really difficult. Try to find friends who will support you and love you for who you are, not what you look like, and try not to listen to people who say mean things to you. They don't know what they're talking about.
