What are the amount of pixels when watching standard LCD tv?

I want to know what is the pixel amount of an LCD when watching in standard mode. By Standard I mean without any HD at all, just regular TV. Also how does it compare to a standard flat tube television? Thanks.

You always watch the SAME amount of pixels (about 1365x768) regardless of the program. This is called the native resolution. So, if you watch standard definition (say 720x480) the TV will automatically scale it to fit its native resolution.
