Well yes i think i am, i am a sucker, and it dosent take much to tug at my heart strings. I cry about any injustice, yet i never cry about my own life, strange that!!
I do anything i can to make peoples lives easier, sometimes at great cost to myself!! For instance, i just lent my sister in law $200 and now i am flat broke untill payday!!
Ahh i dont think i will continue, it sounds too much like blowing my own horn!!

Probably not by most people's standards... if they get to know the real me that is! I am a big believer in tough love, I am honest, strong , respectful and kind. I think that makes me compassionate. However I am unwilling to put up with other people's crap, being belittled, ridiculed or undervalued. I am straight to the point, all the time. So to many individuals that makes me mean.

A christian should be compassionate and I try as hard as I can be to do so...but alas I am human and prone to error. all in all I believe I am

I hope so. However, even though we can act with compassion, we cannot really be compassionate unless we have experienced that particular problem in the past. (My sister never cared about other peoples' problems, then she broke her hip. Now when she hears about someone else breaking their hip, she squints in pain, and really has empathy with them.)

Not really. I generally don't feel what someone else is feeling; I'm not them so my emotional responses don't mirror theirs.
I can feel sympathy sometimes. But compassion is a bit much. I don't feel responsible for the happiness of my fellow human beings. I figure that's their own job.
