use clean sand in a containor and run water through it you can use a 2 litre soda bottle

simply use a coffe filter and runn watter through it.
or you can run watter through a fish tank filter.
eather way the watter will seperate from the cemicals and sediment.

Add a little activated charcoal in the process.

Chlorine to kill the bacterial.
