That's my question for everyone.

I ask you. What's so bad about them that made you decide that the world would be better off without them? What have they ever done to you anyway? If you believe that they're so bad from other people's words, you're just spreading lies, myth, and propaganda.

Everything they say about Mormonism is absolutely untrue. They say that Mormons are immoral, but the Book of Mormons is about exactly the opposite. For example, Mormons outlawed polygamy long ago.

Also, they say that Mormons don't believe in Jesus Christ. That is pure BULLS**T. Why? it's because the Book of Mormon is "another testament of Jesus Christ". Look for yourself. It's right on the front cover. Jesus christ is the centerpiece of their religion next with God. Why else would their church be called The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints?

Give me at least one good reason they're bad, and I'll shut up. If you don't have any, well, then you have no claim.

How would you feel if I bashed YOUR religion anyway.

Until 2003, you had to get naked in the temple and put a towel with a hole in it on your head, then an old person touched your body with oily fingers. That's bad.

The people themselves are fine, upstanding people. Its the church and its teachings I have a problem with. As far as the Book of Mormon is concerned , you never judge a book by it cover! A read into it will find lots of Passages plagiarised from the bible, and these are funnily enough written word for word in King James English, which was not around in 600 BC when it is said that moroni wrote the plates. The Mormons believe in a person named Jesus that was a spirit son of God and was a spirit brother of Satan. This is of course not the real Jesus, the Real Jesus is God in the Flesh. So you don't have to prove it by saying that the book of Mormon is a another testament of Jesus Christ. I mean Brigham Young Taught that Adam is God. I also think that it should be mentioned that Mormons give no recognition to the evils of Satan, he is just out in the "outer darkness" and there really is no such thing as hell, just three levels of heaven.. Instead of acknowledging that they are sinners and wanting to live a good life so they don't go to hell, the only reasons Mormons try to live a good life is to become Gods which again goes right against the grain of the Bible. The very reason Satan was kicked out f Heaven is because he wanted to become a God. So really the only thing that I have against Mormons is their blind following of what the are told as opposed to a true and honest look at the huge divide between Christianity and Mormonism and then people like me being called a liar when it is the false prophets that have made up the lies.. I wont go into the pagan rites held in the temple, the necromancy, the occult practises etc. as I have not got the time.

Doesnt your church teach you not to use profanity? The people are no better or worse than any other people. Its the fake books that joseph smith claimed to translate that are the issue. It seems that the majority of the people you call anti-mormons are former members who came to believe the church is untrue and left. Why dont you take your book of mormon to any anthropologist or meso american archaeoligist and see if the can show you some evidence that any of the people or places in the bom ever existed. They will laugh you right out of their office.

I don't despise any religion. I don't think all the anger you have is really good. I take a lot of bull just for being Christian. But you have to take it in stride. Not everyone gets what you do.

On a side note I have wondered the difference between being baptist and being Mormon if you ever want to send me some info that would be cool. if not whatever.

Mormons are not terrorist, so I can't say the world would be a better place without them, but when you see the prophet in a parade, waving at people with guys going down the street in black suits with ear peices as if they were Men in Black or CIA guys, liek they were looking for a sniper to kill the president, I started to wonder what kind of paranoid president or church I was beleiving in. When I was young the War in heaven story went soemthing like this, the whites were for Jesus, the blacks for the devil and the nuetral people were asians and all other light/dark skin people. They have changed the story now, the neutral people are now he blacks. You will never see a Mormon wearing a cross, and not all christians wear one, but no Mormon does, that put a kink in the chain of you saying Christ is the center piece. I know people say, that a person shouldn't even wear a nail around their neck, but the mormons don't even have a cross in their church and they take water for their sacrament and have lame worship compared to christians who get up and clap during worship. I know the Mormons say their worship is suppose to be reverend, but it will put a person to sleep. As for your second witness, the indians have no jewish DNA in them anywhere, there is no ruins all over North or South America to back up the thoery of the great Laminite nation. The church has tried to get the Smithsonian institute to use the Book of Mormon as a guide to historical events in the past and they refused to use it. Mormonism is based on self, because it involves becoming a God, I personally witnessed many stuck, proud mormons that thought they were holyier then thou because they thought they were better then anyone, because they thought they had already evolved into a Godhood or Goddess statis, they thought they were God on earth, this takes away from Jesus and what he did on the cross. There were many depressed Latter-day saints who brought themselves out of their misery by thinking of themselves as better then others by esteeming themselves on a pedastol as if they were God himself. So the church only takes it's eyes off of God and makes people think they are God, I called it-religious schizophrenia.

I can't give you any reason whey they are bad. I love Mormons. My best friend is a Mormon and I attend church activities with her and we have a blast. We also attend dinners with the missionaries at their house and have the best debates and sharing times. I have studied their faith extensively and while I wholeheartedly disagree with much of their theology, I can find no fault with their way of life. I feel that Mormons more than any other christian group walk their talk and live what they preach. They are a kind and honorable people.

I'm a Pagan Atheist BTW.

We don't believe exactly like they do.

They are insecure with their faith, they can't understand how we can be happy in ours when they are so unsure.

We are a "CULT" (meaning; church down the street that I don't like and don't believe, that I want everyone else to fear and hate as much as I do).

They listen to everyone but us about what we supposedly believe (which is usually wrong). They can't believe that anyone would actually believe such drek (and they are right, no one would, especially us).

It's easy to say that "The MORMON Church" doesn't believe in Jesus Christ, isn't Christian, etc., than it is for them to say that The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints is not Christian. (huh?, a church of JESUS CHRIST is not CHRISTIAN??)

Jealous! :)

Seriously though, it seems that the majority of the antis out there have this need to destroy. I can't remember who said this but it was said by an apostle (I realize that not having a name makes me less credible but it's still a good quote!) that a person who destroys testimony is an antiChrist.

Don't take them seriously. Know within yourself what is right. Do study and study much! But have faith and don't worry about all the antis out there. They have missed the point.

Although I do not share their faith, I respect mormons because the ones I have come in contact with have always been not just talking the talk but also walking the walk. They have been kind, generous, loving and caring people. I have nothing bad to say about the mormons I have met. They are free to believe as they wish. I respect that they do so with kindness.

I believe Christ Jesus paid for my sins in full on the cross at Calvary. He alone can save us, He doesn't need any help from a man named Joseph Smith. One can reject Joseph Smith's teachings and still be saved. However, one cannot reject Christ Jesus and be saved. To say that faith in Jesus 'And' Joseph Smith gives one salvation is a false teaching. I do not hate Mormons, nor do any Christians I know, we only disagree with the book of Mormon. The last Chapter of the book of Revelation tells us not to add to, or take away from Gods Word. The book of Mormon is an addition to Gods Word and thus I reject its authenticity. Jesus doesn't reject me and I don't reject the Mormon people, I do however, reject their doctrine.
God Bless You....Peace.

Chillax people!
So much negativity isn't so healthy ya know!

To be honest, I'm not overly big on organized religons. More of a "it's between me and God" type of girl.

But, in my experiences with religions, the Mormons have the most beautiful religion out there today.

~Not saying any other religion isn't beautiful. If it makes you happy and doesn't bring harm to anybody else, than I have no complaints. So all you intolerable people can shove it up your tiny little butts!! 0=)
