135 pounds seems a bit light. If you want to gain weight, don't stuff butter into all-crean fat ice cream and eat a bunch of junk to gain weight quickly. That might result in unwanted flab. Fat may seem good now but if you gain to much, it might be hard to get back on track again into a healthy lifestyle. Gaining muscle helps put on weight too so you will gain weight will keeping toned, lean, and muscular. I haven't met many people in you position, however. Don't feel bad. Many people wish for a leaner body and not to gain a pound.

Yes you should gain weight. I am 5 feet 7inches tall and I weigh about 155 lbs and I think that I need to get bigger, so I think that you should too.
