Well that depends on if you like her or not if not then change the locks or if she thinks she can come and go as she pleases in your house stay home when she thinks you will be gone and surprise her and ask her for the key back

if it were up to me i would NOT give her the keys. but it depends on the her personality. i wouldn't because i know my mom in law would take advantage of the key, saying she needs something or whatever... anyways if she gets sensitive, i like the answer from one member who said to add additional locks. this way if she tries to get access to your house and cant get in she will ask why. this way you can ask her why she needed to get in and see if it was a good enough reason... and if its not well take away the key... (needing sugar or milk isnt good enough of a reason!)

No. Whose idea was this? Only if she owns the house should she have a key. For emergency access, give to a trustworthy neighbor.

Depends on my relationship to her. If she can be trusted not to go poking around and snooping, sure. It's actually quite nice in a sense because if you have kids she can go pick them up at school and drop them off, stuff like that.
