a fever of 103 in an adult is not good, and just because your doctor couldn't find the source of the causative factor, doesn't mean it will just go away. Do the smart thing, go to the hospital and let them find out why you have a fever and back pain.

It can be very serious so please go. Also look for other symptoms you may have and keep a pad close by so you can write them down.

If the fever does not go away then your body is telling you you have an infection. If you still have it after 24 to 48 hours I would go to the hospital and have them do more tests.

K, your doctor is telling you to go to the hospital, and you're second guessing whether you should or not? Girl, get yer **** there! You might have a blockage in your back that only an x-ray would see. So go!

If your doctor is saying you might want to go to the hospital, then it's probably a good idea to check it out. It won't hurt anything....

GOOD LUCK.

If your fever is that high then I would go now.

Yes, you should go. You know, just to be sure.
