Reading the comments I was reminded of Carl Sagans Pale Blue Dot-in which he states how ridiculous it is to spill all this blood, trying to claim superiority over one another..........

Actually, what people fight about as far as wars go is control over the natural resources. Oil, land, water. And then within those groups there's a continual fighting for power. The pecking order. Religion is just one belief system people fight about. They fight about philosophies and politics as well, both also belief systems. If people had a higher level of consciousness, that would be the only thing that would stop someone from fighting with others of differing belief systems, then they would FEEL the oneness of all people and realize the unity that we all have. :-)

Land, oil, sports teams, politics, and noisy neighbors would still be around to fight over and about. But without religion, these problems could be tackled without mention of invisible people and so we could deal with the issue at hand rather then refer to some guy in the clouds that nobody has every seen. With the same religion people would be really annoying and so that annoying trait would get really old as well.Think Puritan theocracy.

Because not even within the same religion, people agree on everything and, human being have never been able to accept once and for all, that each and everyone of us has the right to think on our own.

no matter what humans will find something to fight about. i'm sure it wouldn't remain one religion for long. it would be like christianity where at some point it was one church which turned into many denominations, catholics, pentecostal etc, even if the same basic beliefs are there.

People would still fight about religion. It's not so much the difference of religious texts (Torah, Bible, Qur'an) that separates people, but how to interpret the texts that defines the separation.

One day mankind will lose the need to prove superiority and
begin to live in tolerance. In that time will all the suffering and
pain cease and we can live as friends

We would fight over technicalities. Look at the Christians and their many denominations....they are the perfect example of people who share a religion/faith and fight with one another over details.
