WOuld this be awkward?

One night a local bartender asked for my number so i gave it to him and left to go to a freinds house he found out i was there and came over,i crashed on the couch and him on the floor. I later found out he has a girlfriend so i backed off.Now i have been talking to a freind of his,at first he was upset with his freind,but he seems to have accepted it now. Nothing is serious between his friend and i yet, but i still have a thing for him more than his friend, should i continue in hopes that i will grow feelings for his freind or would it always be awkward?

I say go for it with the friend. Don't waste time on a cheater.

If contestant #1 has a girlfriend. Back off!! Also, only time will make it less awkward.
