I am not in trouble for anything, I just have 2 questions about the meanings of charges in a court of law. If a charge states Felony U/U Livestock moving, what is that? And, what does Unauthorized use of an Access Device mean? Again, I am just curious because I tend to see theses charges often when reviewing court cases etc and am just curious about their meanings. Thanks

I'm taking a shot in the dark mind you...but it SOUNDS like Unlawful/Unauthorized (U/U) Moving of Livestock along with the use of an access device to get to the livestock.

The "access device" being anything used to access the area of where the livestock were located. Imagine an access card used to gain entry to a locked door. Essentially, the "access device" would be the same!

So, in the question overall...it sounds like an individual would be charged with gaining access illegally to an area where livestock are maintained then taking or moving the livestock without permission!

I believe that answers your two questions. If you provide the name of the state in which these terms refer, I may be able to narrow it down a bit more for you!

Until then...best wishes.
