As an atheist, I notice questions from theists that are repeated quite often and have been answered numorous times, yet keep re-appearing. So I'm wondering if atheists are doing the same thing? Are there questions theists are tired of answering?

Any question that holds modern day Christians responsible for the errors of past Christians--like Hitler or the Inquisition. I'm a nontheist, and even I roll my eyes when I see those.

The only thing that would make such responses acceptable would be if modern day Christians still think or what to act like those past Christians.

Amadeo: "I thought the concept of aetheism was to not ask questions."

No, that's your misconception of atheism. Atheists question rather than accept things on faith.

I never get tired of answering sincere questions from Atheists. Most of the time, though, I don't believe they are really being sincere. They are either being sarcastic, funny, or both. I wish that we could all communicate in mutual respect of one another's belief system. I don't see how just expressing that I believe there is a God is disrespectful to Atheists. Likewise, I don't believe an Atheist expressing his belief that there is no God is disrespectful to me. I think Christians and Atheists CAN coexist on R&S in a relationship of respect and kindness. It just takes effort, in my opinion. God bless you. I don't look down on you for your beliefs. I use to believe the same things (being an agnostic), and I can understand the logic of that position. Anyway, these are just my humble thoughts.

God bless you.

The question might be "Show God". There are so many puzzles in the evolution of life. Neither theists nor atheists can answer. we have so many social problems. whether theists or atheists should try to drive away these social problems like caste system, religious quarrels, poverty etc instead of quarrelling about the existence of god

Yes. Tons of them.

It does not interest or amaze me however, I generally find Atheists lack the capability of learning. In general Atheists seem to spout rhetoric that someone else they admire has spouted, Richard Dawson for example, and ignore the most obvious things.

Take for example the idea that the entire ideology of God did not exist before the earliest documents we currently have were written. Or that "stories" about God, which were passed around by word of mouth for many years before the existence of other religions, are based on other religious beliefs.

Atheists must not read much or they would know how hard it is to find a first edition that was produced by the thousands on a printing press, much less a first edition of a book that was spread first by word of mouth and copied by hand for thousands of years prior to being manufactured in bulk.

Even today when you go to the book store, a place Atheists must not frequent, you will find many different mass produced translations of the Bible, yet, because there are variations in volumes "manufactured" by hand thousands of years ago the books must not be accurate, as if the variations in copies or translations of Greek Philosophers are different.

Atheists do not seem to understand that variability exists in all manufacturing, even today when we try very hard to eliminate it.

Simple common sense things that I have answered many times here and that anyone who actually thinks should find obvious.

They have to ask the same questions over and over again because they have trouble listening to the answers that theists give them. If they would open their eyes and think with those beautiful brain cells God gave them... then perhaps they would see the light.

We Christians care via fact Jesus commanded us to bypass unto the uttermost areas of the earth with the Gospel. all of us comprehend that as quickly as you die you will meet God, all of us comprehend this, and it saddens us while human beings die no longer waiting for his or her judgement day. In Hebrews 9:27 the Bibles says that it somewhat is appointed to a guy as quickly as to die yet after this the judgement. we are able to all be judged, Jesus pronounced in John 3:3, different than a guy be born back he can not see the dominion of God. it somewhat is the reason we Christians care plenty. Jesus needs all adult males to be saved and are available to the certainty of the reality. in case you have any questions or comments only deliver me an digital mail, God Bless!!

1) Problem of evil and its thousand and one variations.
2) Any question dealing with evolution that assumes that proof of evolution is proof of universal common descent.
3) Any question that assumes that everyone who rejects atheism must be brainwashed sheep and/or that only atheists are capable of independent thought.
4) "But you can't prove God exists...."

Pssssst, john_d_ayers: It's "Dawkins", not "Dawson". You're thinking of Family Feud (and Hogan's Heroes, maybe). :oP

Both sides are full of questions, and both sides tend to have some rude answers, and some really good answers. Both sides repeat themselves, it's alright, some questions in life are worth repeating.

Good one! I've been surprised that the Christians haven't invented a drinking game of their own yet.

As a Pagan, I can make a list:

*"Where was God when...?"
*Don't you see how many contradictions there are in the Bible?
*Why are you theists so ignorant? (Rude and contributes nothing)
*What proof do you have for creationism?
