it's supposed to reduce pain. I have never seen it work on the hundreds of people that I know who have used it. So it's very possible that you are having some sort of negative reaction to it and it's increasing your pain. Do not take any more.

If you me mean glucosamine, no, it lessens pain and is an effective joint lubricant. Three people in my family use it in gelcap form and have great success in alleviating their arthritis symptoms. There is also a pet product called Happy Hips, carried by our organic grocer, that is made of chicken jerky with glucosamine in it. We have started giving these strips to our shepherd/collie who has arthritis, but it will be a few weeks before we are able to see if glucosamine eases her arthritis.

Are you referring to, "Glucosamine?"
If so-it relieves arthritis and any forms of joint pain.
I take it everyday and its AMAZING.
My pain is gone and hasn't returned since I started taking it.
And my 13 yr old dog takes it also, and at one point he couldn't walk! And in both cases the results were apparent within a few days.
I know of many that have benefited immensely from it.
