uh... basically, it's their ways of teaching; Puritans taught -- I don't think there many of 'em left -- that suffering was God's way of "teaching", and if you tried to help them, then you were interfering with God's work. Also, they believed that a person's wealth showed how much God loved them. Baptists and Lutherans are true Christian sects b/c they are able to truthfully recite all of the Creeds -- Nicene, Athanasian, and Apostolic. JW's and Mormons can't That's all I really know. They all have a slightly different spin on the Bible, slightly different beliefs regarding Jesus and God and prophets and disciples, and have different traditions and doctrines, in order to make the difficult to swallow religion called Christianity more palletable to some people.
