I think people do abuse tanning. I know that when I was a little kid I never wanted to wear sunscreen 'cause I wanted to be soooo tan. And when I was in high school and through college I went to the tanning bed every single day...even though I knew it was bad for me. I didn't care, it looked nice ya know. I got pregnant a few years back and couldn't go anymore, and afterwards I learned to deal with being white!!! I told myself that it just wasn't worth the risk anymore and decided not to go to a tanning bed anymore...and to wear sunscreen more often. BUT, just the other day I was looking at an old picture of myself and just fell in love...and now I am trying to save money to go to the tanning bed again!! Crazy I know!! It's sadly a hard thing to give up though!

Some do. I used to work with a girl who went every freaking day. She developed some kind of skin problem from excessive tanning and her MD put her on medication for it and she STILL went to the tanning salon every day. She wasn't 40 years old and her skin looked like a leather purse. I think she had some issues.

If it's possible to abuse tanning then there will be someone abusing it. I think it's just human nature.

Do you mean tanning to much? What is too much? .............. That sounds like an opinion.

I'm not sure what you mean by abuse, but here in Florida, there are people who literally live at the beach. they're so brown, they'll never lose their tan.

i think they do because you see people coming to school orange and you can tell when thay tan to much and its kinda gay because its sad when people are to lazy to go outside and get a NATURAL tan when they drive maybe five minutes away and to look like an umpalumpa.
