I'm having mine custom designed. The main part of the dress is white, but the bodice is turquoise/blue. It's strapless and the back laces all the way up. I'm not sure if I'm going to have the laces in the blue or white yet. I haven't decided. :) Then underneath the skirt all the tulle is the same turquoise/blue color so when I lift up the skirt you see the color popping out. If you have more questions or need ideas just email me. I'm a designer.

Oh..the colour of the gown ought to be the final of any ones subject at a marriage. I easily have a extra physically powerful subject with people who destroy each and every vow they recited interior a pair of years of having hitched. this could be a extra physically powerful subject. the marriage is purely an hour out of an quite long existence jointly. Its no enormous deal. Its the sentiment at the back of the custom that is substantial. thankfully married for 13 years (jointly 18) and why is it fairly any of your subject who's and is not a virgin?? truthfully it is purely a count for the human beings worried and The Maker. i think of you sound too inquisitive on the subject of the trivial, once you will be able to desire to be putting your stable innovations to apply easily helping human beings, fairly of dropping it being judgemental. this I see as extra of a sin. and for the record, some others are acceptable. White has only been a 'trend' in wedding ceremony clothing for the previous one hundred fifty years or so. A white wedding ceremony gown became seen extra as a fact of wealth and prosperity, maximum women human beings married of their 'sunday suitable' (probable gray, as a logo of humbleness) and white, esp lace, confirmed the family contributors had funds, whcih became acceptable to the potential grooms family contributors. Blue has constantly been a logo of purity in the Christian church. for this reason mom Mary is often depicted donning blue gowns and girls human beings placed on a blue token (ribbon or broach or garter) on their wedding ceremony day. human beings at times dont like the fact whilst is conflicts with their ideals that they carry expensive.

My dress was white, but I toyed with the idea of a creamy ivory dress with pink and blue embroidered flowers on the bodice.

My ultimate dream wedding dress was white with small embroidered purple flowers on the bodice and bottom. It cost way too much and since I'm 5'1 I'd have to have it altered in reverse to keep the bottom intact. (very expensive)

For my first wedding I wore an ivory dress with a zillion sequins. It was gorgeous. I was too pale to wear white so ivory looked better on me. Who cared? All the guests knew we were living together!

My second wedding I wore a simple black cocktail dress. I actually think it looked better than the first one.

Not me, but my friend Laura's was baby pink with white and silver embroidery. It was cool because her bridesmaids wore white dresses and carried pink flowers! The guys wore black tuxes and pink vests and ties. The groom wore a white tux and pink accessories. It looked REALLY beautiful!!!
