I want to have just appetizers. Iv thought about shrimp kabobs and meat/cheese/cracker spread too. I'm also getting a small cake or cupcakes or something sweet. What else do you think would go good with it?

how about spinach dip with tortilla chips, it's kinda filling and btw, frito lay makes a really good one in a jar, just put it in a pretty bowl and no one will know the difference, and add a fruit platter, with the kabobs and meat/cheese tray you should fill up pretty good and still have time to enjoy your guests company

Stuffed little mushrooms, or if you can get the mini sweet peppers are always a big hit around my house. Scallops wrapped in bacon. Fruit salad with little bowls is good for something light. Deviled eggs. How many options you put out can vary based on how many guests there are. Try to think of things which are tasty if they are hot or just room temperature like mini quiches, or spinach puffs, which don't require too much effort, since that would be easiest for the bulk of the work.

Bacon Wrap Arounds.
Mix together
6 ozs minced cold cooked meat.
4 ozs cottage cheese.
1/2 stuffing mix.
1 medium finely chopped onion.
Salt and pepper.

I would do Pot stickers and mini spring rolls with sweet chili dipping sauce or gravlax served on cucumber slices with wasabi mayo and mini crabcakes. I sometimes make strawberry and Swiss cheese kabobs and serve them with plan yogurt and fresh mint. If you want to stick with skewers, do chicken and beef kabobs and serve them with Asian or Indian peanut sauce and crisp lettuce leaves.
These would all be good with belinis!

How about egg salad in endive leaves? It's a spring-like thing with a pretty presentation. A bruschetta would be good too, with sun-dried tomato pesto and feta. The rest all sounds excellent too!
