Straight. 100% for. Christianity and Islam do NOT have a monopoly on marraige.
Top 12 Reasons Gays should NOT marry
1. Homosexuality is not natural, much like
eyeglasses, polyester, and birth control.
2. Heterosexual marriages are valid because they
produce children. Infertile couples and old
people can't legally get married because the
world needs more children.
3. Obviously gay parents will raise gay
children, since straight parents only raise
straight children.
4. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if homosexual marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour, just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
5. Heterosexual marriage has been around a long
time and hasn't changed at all; women are
property, blacks can't marry whites, and divorce
is illegal.
6. Gay marriage should be decided by people not
the courts, because the majority-elected
legislatures, not courts, have historically
protected the rights of the minorities.
7. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In
a theocracy like ours, the values of one
religion are imposed on the entire country.
That's why we have only one religion in America.
8. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay,
in the same way that hanging around tall people
will make you tall.
9. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to
all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even
wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal
standing and can sign a marriage contract.
10. Children can never succeed without a male
and a female role model at home. That's why
single parents are forbidden to raise children.
11. Gay marriage will change the foundation of
society. Heterosexual marriage has been around
for a long time, and we could never adapt to new
social norms because we haven't adapted to cars
or longer life spans.
12. Civil unions, providing most of the same
benefits as marriage with a different name are
better, because a "separate but equal"
institution is always constitutional.
Separate schools for African-Americans worked
just as well as separate marriages for gays and
lesbians will.

I'm straight and I have been married for about 5 years. I don't really believe that 78% is the correct number. (it sounds like an exaggeration)
I have nothing against gay people getting married. Everyone deserves to have the right of loving and marrying whom ever they want. They say America is the land of the free, and well I think it should practice what it preaches. You should be ever to marry anyone you want.

Straight guy here. Not only do I support gay marriage, I perform the ceremonies for any who ask. I know the government won't recognize it but I don't care. I am a licensed minister (and an atheist, how's that for odd) and I will not hesitate to marry any couple truly in love.

The straight people I know aren't against equal civil rights for gays so I can only assume it is the prejudiced religious bigots I don't know and who don't even know gay people who are trying to impose their own religious rules on the rest of the population which is quite an aggressive and anti-social thing to do, it shows scant regard for other peoples beliefs or world-views.

Hahaha as long as they dont "lay in an identical mattress" lol There are relatively promptly male/woman couples who get married, and that they produce different relationships, and stay in diverse residences, they only are married for the benifits That precise there is the explanation why i think of that the government desires to lower back out of marrage and get rid of the benifits that married couples are recieving.

I'm straight and I support gay marriage 100%.
I think that most people who oppose gay marriage feel threatened by it. Possibly because homosexual relationships on the average last far longer than the average heterosexual relationship.
If the divorce rate of homosexuals will be lesser than that of heterosexuals, then that threatens the heterosexual ego.
Just my theory.

Marriage is God's invention. He parallels marriage with the concept of Jesus and His church in Ephesians 5:25-33.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives and their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church---for we are members of his body. "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." this is a profound mystery---but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
Homosexually is wrong and so is straight people living together without marriage. They are both fornication. Married people not loving each other and treating each other with disrespect is also wrong. Christians must listen to God for blessings in their lives. Peace

They aren't, the Christians are. The objection to homosexuality is entirely biblical, and in cultures where the Christians have no control, is quite rare.
