Who here agrees with me that if the Abrahamic deity exists as described by Christians the only choice for people of good will is (theistic) Satanism?
If their god is so evil that he has a concept of hell and would send people to hell for not worshipping him...
And if this god's way to save people is to have humans spread his word, knowing that *other people* are not going to be trusted by people based on words alone...
And if this god wants people to be saved, he's doing a terrible job, and if he's omnipotent, he *knows* this...he *KNOWS* that many of the people he created have been created to require EVIDENCE, not words....but he does NOTHING...
Then isn't the only choice being an adversary to this god?
Some Christians want to really prove their god exists to those of us who don't believe he does...
If you don't believe this god is real now, wouldn't you HAVE to oppose him if led to believe he was real?

If the God of the Old Testament were real, I would probably have to make friends with Satan. I don’t think I could bring myself to worship a God that destroys cities, tells people to kill their children in order to show their faith, or floods the world causing little boys and girls to drown. I would have to support anything that was in opposition to that.

Interesting concepts.
I never got the God/Lucifer thing. Lucifer has been promoted to God status. He has all the powers God does. He has his own little corner of eternity, he can cause people to evil things while God can cause good, if he knows everything then didn't he make us how we are? Shouldn't he love us any ways? If I, a mere mortal can love my children no matter what, forgive them no matter what, then why can't a God, a DIVINE who is so far above us do the same? Why do I have to be saved or be a certain way for anything to love me?
Give my Isis any day. It just makes more sense to me.

If a God exists like the one described in the Bible, I'd be on his side. The reward seems much greater (and his victory seems inevitable).
