An alcohol hangover is associated with a variety of symptoms that may include dehydration, fatigue, headache, body aches, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, weakness, elevated body temperature, hypersalivation, difficulty concentrating, sweating, anxiety, dysphoria, irritability, sensitivity to light and noise, erratic motor functions (including tremor), trouble sleeping, severe hunger, halitosis, and lack of depth perception. Many people will also be repulsed by the thought, taste or smell of alcohol during a hangover. The symptoms vary from person to person, and occasion to occasion, usually beginning several hours after drinking. It is not clear whether hangovers directly affect cognitive abilities. To get rid of it - 1. WATER - your body will know it, however, when you start drinking that water, try to drink even more than quenches your thirst. Drink until your belly is full! Drink as much as you can! That way you'll wash up your body and get rid of the headache. 2. EGGS - they have cysteine. They are magic... They take away the blurgh feeling. Other good foods are bacon, tomatoes, sour cream. If you don't have any tripe soup around (best choice with lots of vinegar), try an egg and bacon sandwich. 3. Vitamin B6 - is widely distributed in foods in both its free and bound forms. Good sources include meats, whole grain products, vegetables, and nuts. 4. If the doodoo won't return to normal, eat rice. And carrots. "Hair of the dog" DOESN'T WORK. If you drink some booze, you'll feel better for some minutes, then you'll feel 2x worse and you'll have a longer hangover that will pass harder. So don't do that. It's a myth. A bad one.

You cant fight a hang over. No matter what people tell you. Cold shower, coffee, bread, drinks, more alcohol.......none of them really help. Only time will get you over a hangover. Also if you're getting drunk often I would suggest buying this pill called Nohang. You take it before consumptionof alcohol to prevent hangovers.

Couple of Ibuprofen and coffee usually does the trick for me.
A word of advice...if you've been drinking a lot, make sure you guzzle down a large glass of water at the end of the night. Most hangovers develop partially because you've actually dehydrated yourself by drinking so much alcohol - drinking water before you go to bed (or pass out =)) can help your body hydrate itself so you don't feel so nasty in the morning.

Don't drink and you won't get hangovers, WILL remember the night, and WON'T do anything REALLY, REALLY stupid that you don't believe when people tell you about it.
Otherwise, drink one drink an hour so your body can process the alcohol within its capacity.
