You can use the "what if..." question on any issue, about any person. But that doesn't change the past. Your question means nothing to me and many others. I still believe in God and Jesus. I will not stop believing because of "what if..." questions?
What if apples were bad for you and chocolate was good for you? Would that make me thin and health tomorrow?

Anyone who has listened to what Jesus says and thinks he needs mental help probably needs mental help themselves. His words are not the words of a crazy man, lest if they were, this world could use a lot more craziness.

That is one of the options. That he was a LUNATIC.
Everyone needs to make a decision about Jesus of Nazareth, is he a LEGEND, a LIAR, a LUNATIC, or is he LORD?
When you way the evidence and rationale and logic of the situation most will come to the conclusion that he is Lord.

You have to believe Jesus was either a Liar, a Lunatic, or the Lord. Many that choose to ignore Jesus as the Lord will believe one of the other assertions. Those of us who have sought him out through faith, know He is the Lord.
