Originally the truth is sent by each bonafide religion. But man changes it to fit his own idea. Then it is not truth. Some Religions are giving partial truth due to the particular time, place and circumstance. Such as Lord Buddha. He was teaching for those who would never surrender to God Though He was a partial incarnation of God he came to help the Atheists so they wouldn't suffer so he had to say there is no God. Just sit down and meditate and then merge into the Brahman light energy. He didn't explain that that is the energy emanating from the spiritual eternal Supreme Blissful, Body of God also known as Krishna, Vishnu, Allah, Jehovah, etc. If he did they wouldn't accept. He was only giving partial truth out of his causeless mercy for the Athiestic people. That is not the goal but it will keep them from further trouble. Jesus taught God had a form, but he could only give them so much knowledge of God and even then they crucified him. "There is more I have to tell you." and "I will not cast pearls amongst swine." All of the saints originally taught no animal sacrifice in this age, but that has all been changed by man. Krishna says in the Gita. "Whenever there is a decline in religious principals and the truth appears to be lost, I appear again and again or send my representative to reestablish the truth." So Yes we accept the truth of other religions, but not the part that has been misconstrued by man.

There are many angles/perspectives from which each of us approach Truth. A person does not have to realize the Truth through their own faith/religion to appreciate other faiths. Actually it is when you begin to open your mind and start studying and learning about the other faiths/religions and talking to people about their faith/religion that you begin to realize just how multidimensional Truth is and you begin to appreciate the many angles/perspectives from which people approach Truth and it is THIS that helps you understand better your own faith/religion's approach to Truth.

Atleast that has been my own humble personal experience and is often what has been the experience of many of my friends as well as others I've met that have a respect and appreciation for other faiths/religions.

Excellent question.

Peace be with you.

That's so very correct. If we understand what our religion is, we would realize that it's all about humanity, about brotherhood, about peace over this world, etc. People claiming other religions to be false are basically violating the very same principles. They are responsible for disturbing global harmony and uprooting brotherhood.

Before we could make statements about any other religion, we must truly understand what our religion is about. Jesus preached to love everyone. He was the one who prayed to God to forgive the one who cricifed him, saying that they don't know what they are doing. Then who are we to remember the issues (that too the ones that are 100 years old) and keep opposing each other. Mohammad was believed to bew a messenger of God. Had other religions been a problem for Him, He could have waged a war against them. Instead he preferred preaching few ethics. Then why His followers have to wage war against other religions. Similarly, Buddha preached salvation; Krishna is about life, Rama is about ethics; etc.

That's a very nice point you have made. 10 pts to you....

All the best...

:-)

There is only one truth, how could you have many different religions, God is the only God, The Creator, and each and everyone of us, will have to explain our actions on judgement day, time is to short to wander around aimlessly, there is a reason The Bible is still here, and so many have gave thier life for it because It is the Truth, They knew it, and Many who are Christians Know it, I do.

you are right that when one realises his religion or faith and when he finds thatthe God is one and only one then it automatically comes to his mind that every body's father is same then how it is possible that he is true for one religion only.but why people do not undertsand that nature is made in such a way that every religion can not have same thinking for the God. because they are on a vertical cone have its base at the bottom where all are living. at the top there is only one that is the God. but we are at the base , finds things in a different way, because we see different things at the different locations of the base of the cone.

Shia, Sunnies, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh Christian, Jews; does'nt matter what faith you have, the basics are alike. The only difference man has made to prove that he is superior to the others. The classification comes first with religions, then sects, then countries, then language, then money, and so on. God says, do not ask any one that your god is wrong and mine is right, your religion is wrong and mine is right, as this will lead you to fight, and I do not like the fights on my earth. My dear friend, keep the faith you have and stick to it, it is the only faith which takes us to our destination. Without faith you are lost, without faith you reach no where. May God bless you.

There is only one true God, the Creator of all and who can give us life. His is the only truth to be concerned with. Some bumpkin snake oil salesman's truth means nothing.

What most people can't seem to realize is a Supreme Being doesn't change to suit us. We must change to suit Him.

This has been true for my quest in finding truth. It is amazing because when I think I have a complete grasp of understanding a whole new level of awareness arrives. When these culminate is creates a beautiful landscape of unity between all faiths and cultures...living art.

I don't think that's true. Some people are just more closed minded and only see things their way. That doesn't mean they haven't seen the truth of their own religion, it just means taht they refuse to see the truth in the religions of others.

it doesn't matter what faith you believe in ,it only matters that you believe,if you believe with a clear conscious and true heart you can see the good and bad in all things therefore you can appreciate others faith. good people do good things in the world regardless of there religion bad people do bad things. you assume that people have a true and unshakable faith in there religion but in my experience there is only a minority of people who follow there religion devoutly.i believe that the Muslim religion has such a big connection to violence because of the violence that people have witnessed for hundreds of years in the Arab states its nature nurture environment that shapes individual personalities. god bless ju
