I've not tried it yet.
My mom has lost over thirty pounds in just a few months.

NutriSystem seems too gimmicky to me. I don't buy (literally and figuratively) into anything that says buy our stuff and miracles will happen. (I've also seen too many of those TV preachers during my early pregnancy insomnia.) There is nothing on the commercials, print ads, infomercials or site that say anything about the actual nutrition of the food. I guess they figure that if they put "Nutri" in the name, people will go for it. Also, the pasta and bread looks to be white bread. Not nutritious. Also, I don't do meat, but I guess there is a vegetarian version. Eh.
I like how they talk about the glycemic index as though they invented it. Anybody who knows how to do basic research, even on the Internet (which, when I was in college seemed to be easier than traditional research), can do research on bad carbs (from processed junk foods like white bread, white pasta, potato chips, etc.) and good carbs from good healthy natural foods (fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc.)
Also, nothing is said about real results after the person goes off the system. Likely, since they're not eating the special food, they gain weight back.
Persoanlly, I don't think it's worth the money.

My friend lost about 10 in a month, but said it was the most digusting things shes ever done. She lost waay more on weight watchers anyways.
I say don't even try it because the food is nasty.
