To have a relationship with Him through his son.
What a lot of people don't know, realize, or care about is that Jesus gave us the most amazing gift; the opportunity to spend eternity with Him and God the Father if all we do is believe, or trust, in Him. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). God sent His Son to take on our sin, be killed, and then be raised again, proving His victory over sin and death. “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). If we accept this gift, God has now become attainable to us.

Psa 103:7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

Jhn 5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is [one] that accuseth you, [even] Moses, in whom ye trust.

Jhn 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Jhn 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

To believe, so that we may have eternal life.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

God? There isn't one. Sorry.

As for Jesus, too much has been made of that whole scenario.

Get real.
