1. As I live alone, I do the cooking, or I'd go hungry! ;)
2. I will have potatoes, onion and fish as dinner
3. What shall you have? it depends on what you like to eat. No point my suggesting something that would make you recoil in horror. How about treating yourself to something you haven't had in a long time and which is reasonably straightforward to make?here are some options... Pasta-based, Rice-based, European style food, Asian style food, whatever takes your fancy. What have you got at home re. food stores? Just some questions to help you decide. If you have children, why not include them in the decision making. Tell them to be creative, make a game of it, depending on their ages, of course, or if it's just for you and your partner... what tickles your fancy?
Just my tuppence worth.
cheers

I do all the cooking - my partner cannot cook to save her life and I'm trained in it anyway. I absolutely adore food and cooking so this is not a problem.
Sometimes I worry a bit about my lady, as the last guy she lived with before me was a chef.
On Saturday we had an elaborate curry - Murgh Kotagiri, with plain rice, bombay aloo and parathas. Last night we had pan-fried Gressingham duck breasts in a Grand Marnier jus served on a bed of caramelised leeks and shallots infused with crushed beetroot and flanked by pont-neuf potatoes.
So,tonight, something simple. Fusilli and Conchiglie pasta in a tomato, basil and onion sauce. A chef's tip - this sauce can be really out of this world if you add 1/4 tsp tamarind concentrate to it. Failing that, a dash of Worcestershire sauce sexes the dish up quite a bit. Why don't you try the same?

immediately i'm going to have eaten virtually an identical, yet I have no genuine clue what I easily have burned. I estimate that I easily have burned approximately 1668 + 224 + 1108 = 3000 and lost substantial quantity of water simply by perspiration. Basal metabolic fee = 1668 energy 10 mile run = 1108 energy 224 energy extra for doing extra suitable than purely mendacity in mattress all day and respiration i think it is extra suitable than 3000 that I easily have burned, yet i think sparkling and complete on the 2nd with 400g of potatoes, 125g butter beans, a million egg, 20g cheese and 60g sardines yet to consume. i'm going to lose for valuable, yet you would be on the border line between gaining and dropping.

I do 95% of the cooking but my hubby is the best assistant and griller around. Saturday night we had grilled steaks, sauted shrimp with lemon, garlic and chives, pan frid yukon gold potatoes with rosemary, thyme, and cheddar and sour cream on top and salad. Sunday night we had grilled chicken thighs and pork ribs, a huge pot of greens with bacon, garlic and onion, mexican rice and corn. I'm wore out from cooking all weekend (and so sore from yard work) so tonight we're having tuna sandwiches and soup.

I do about 80% of the cooking in our house. My husband's a great cook, but only has time on the weekends.
I still haven't figured out dinner for tonight. But last night we had tamale pie and a green salad.

I do the cooking. We just had mac and cheese and pineapple for lunch (the kids love it) and for dinner I plan to make grilled chicken and mashed potatoes.
