Humans on the ark:
-Noah
-Noah's wife (name unknown)
-Noah's sons: Shem, Ham, and Yafet
-Shem, Ham, and Yafet's wives (again, names unknown)

As for the second question: the Bible seems to imply (somewhere in Psalms) that the habitats were made for the animals, not the other way around. That's not to say creatures never evolved; it's just that God had in mind their final forms before creating the landscape.

Noah, Noah's wife, Noah's 3 sons and Noah's 3 daughter-in-laws.

The Bible doesn't have to mention this. Man has always known that environment has many predictions. God taught this best with the children of Israel as His chosen people. He warned them not to let the Canaanites persuade them to worship their gods. God even said don't put any other gods before Him because there are no gods but Him. God wanted man to know that he can be influenced if he gets around evil. Man has always known the fisherman is tanned because he is out in the sun and the cave dweller is light skinned because he stays deep inside the cave. If you sit behind a desk you will have small arms. If you lift boxes for a living you will have large arms. God made each kind after its own kind. It can be tanned or not. It can be small or large.

Deke, while your answer is not Biblical it is hysterical! Gotta love it, he's old enogh to have been on the ark isn't he?

There were 8 people on the ark. The Bible says that each creature has children that are the same species as their parents. This is supported by science, as there is no evidence of any species giving birth to a creature of ANTOHER species, however there is great variation WITHIN a species.

Noah, his wife, his 3 sons and their wives, no one else.

The Bible does not say how the animals adapted to the new habitats. You must remember that every thing was destroyed, there were no trees at that time, just grass. Then after a few years there would be brush and then trees several years after that.

Humans other than who?

I am not aware of The Bible specifically mentioning that evolution was tied to habitat; and suppose that due to it's silence on this and other matters, I guess that we are left to figure that part out for ourselves, eh? ;-)

It mentions that there were at least another 70 people on the Ark, none of whom helped in the re-procreation of the world.

The Bible leaves many people including the most devout Christians with more unanswered questions than not.
