How do you know when someone is lieing to you?

You know. It's difficult to maintain lies, it takes a lot of effort. Trust your gut and then verify with evidence.

You ask them a question a few days later that they said to you & see if they say something different. Works with my one cousin everytime. My sister can tell if im lieing usually cause I start laughing.Odd I know

Some experiment says that when someone is lying, their eyes will involuntarily look down and to the left. For non scientific reasons, probably you should do some independent check if applicable.

If they cant look you dead in the eyes when they are talking or telling you something, then 9 times out of 10 they are lying

also when someone is lying they will usually look "up and to the left"

When someone is telling the truth the will look to the right.

Has to do with the way the brain recalls information.

you can kida tell if there bad at lieing but if they are good at ling and has a good poker face its hard to tell also if they your reallllly close friends probabley not lieing

yep have too agree with previous post...they don't look you straight in the eyes or they look past you or around when they're talking to you.
