According to an official statement released by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) on Monday, Ivan Basso has admitted to involvement in the Operación Puerto affair, and has agreed to cooperate with the CONI antidoping prosecutor. "The anti-doping prosecutor's office has heard Ivan Basso again today, who has largely confessed his responsibilities in the Puerto affair", the statement read.
