Welcome to the South. I have lived here my whole life. The good news I don't believe a damn bit of that and I am doing ok. I still consider myself pretty damn American. ;)

Not in the Northeastern part of the country. There are a lot of environmentalists, immigrants, evolutionists, etc. around. It's nice to have all of these in a city/town, see. You just go with the flow, relax and chill.

No. I am a US citizen, that also happens to be atheist.

I support:
Capital punishment
Legal immigration (I am one myself)
Abortion rights
Keeping religion out of schools and public places
Gun Control
Environmental controls

To be a true American IMO is to realize that not everyone believes the same things you do and RESPECT that instead of telling them they are wrong.
