my hubby would look ridiculous if he didn't shave his head. he has been going bald since his late teens. i think he is attractive. but i guess its down to personal taste. some women find long hair attractive on a man. i personally hate the ridiculous girly hairstyles most men have these days. i honestly can't tell a girl from a boy in some cases.

You've basically answered your own Question. Some guys (like me and Bruce Willis) cut their hair really, really short---I've heard it called "micro-short"---because the hair growth is thinning on top. I can't speak for Mr. Willis (fine actor though he is), but in my case, I think I look better with very short hair, compared to having slightly longer hair, and visible balding spots. My spouse (and friends/co-workers who have expressed an opinion) likes it better this way.

If a guy is younger, and/or has a nice, full head of hair, he might cut his hair that way just because he wants to. No hair equals no maintenance.

You don't know what's going on in the life of every guy you see...a guy with a micro-cut might be in the military, or he might be an athlete. His haircut might be for "practical" reasons, not just cosmetic.

I don't like the look, either. I see some of the top surfers doing it and I don't know why--hair is a natural protection from the sun and a lot of these guys are surfing beneath the blazing tropical sun of Hawai'i, Fiji, Indonesia, etc. It makes no sense.

I've noticed that, and then the stubble grows back revealing the true extent to which they've receded. Have a hair follice implant. Get a weave.

The saying is tall, dark and handsome.

Not tall, bald and...

i shave my head now and have done it for a while. women tell me how they like it all the time. its easy to maintain. if you get in a fight or anything you don't have to worry about anyone grabbing your hair. and last but not least it is great for warm weather and people who play sports cuz you cool off alot easier and dont get all hot and itchy from having sweaty hair.

There could be a many different reasons. My dad for example, had me cut his hair until it was almost bald to show support for my mom who is going to lose her hair to chemo. She had me cut hers to about a half an inch long. And some of my dad's friends have cut their hair like my dad's to show that they support his decision.

I shave my hair because its far less hassle and looks much tidyer.

Thats why the military shave the heads of their conscripts.

We don't give a rats-ar se about what dumb women think!
