Hi! I am having a hard time deciding which digital camera to get. I think I have it narrowed down to three...but I am open to suggestions! The three are Casio EX-Z75, Casio EX-Z1050, and Kodak easyshare V803. All three are in similar price ranges ($200-$300), and I would like to stay around there. I am somewhat new to digital cameras and I just want to be able to take good pictures of me and my friends as well as awsome vacation pictures. Also, can any memory card work with any camera? I figured I would buy a 1-2 gig card, but the price ranges are all over and I want to make sure I am buying the right on for the right camera! Thank you so much!!!

I would recommend you get a Canon . the Canon IXUS 800 IS 6.0 MP Digital Camera is a good one . Another option could be the Sony Cybershot W35 7.2MP Digital Camera .
The Casio EX-Z75 7.2MP Digital Camera is a good Camera too .

I have no experience with any of these cameras, but looking at a comparison page:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_post.asp?method=sidebyside&cameras=casio_exz75%2Ccasio_exz1050%2Ckodak_v803&show=all
I say immediately to rule out the Z75, because it has the smaller 1/2.5" sensor that is about half the size of the sensor found in the other two cameras.
Otherwise, there are many trade-offs and you will have to decide what you want in a camera.
If dpreview.com is accurate...
The Kodak has much higher ISO (sensitivity) - if it can live up to it - which would make it better in low light or fast action situations. (I don't mean that it will take the picture quickly, but that it can stop action better.) The Kodak has two styles of auto-focus, which gives you more flexibility.
The Casio allows more user control by providing aperture and shutter priority modes. This may make a difference to you some day, but probably not for casual shots. It could make a difference for those "awesome" vacation pictures, though, when the pre-set metering in the camera is just not right for your non-preset scenic view. The Casio also accepts the larger SDHC cards, which might make a difference if you go crazy and want to take a few hundred pictures on vacation without downloading them fromyour card. The Casio is also 10 MP as compared to the Kodak's 8 MP.
Here is a review of the similar Z1000 that preceded your camera: http://web1.popphoto.com/cameras/3469/test-casio-exilim-ex-z1000.html
Here's another: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/casioz1000/
I do NOT know if the Z1050 is considered an upgraded Z1000, though.
Here's a review of the Kodak V803: http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/kodak/v803-review/
The last review says that the Casio gets almost twice as many shots per charge out of the batteries and that might be a concern on vacation.
At the end of the review, it also says, "Some other cameras worth looking at include the Canon PowerShot SD900, Casio Exilim EX-Z1050, Fuji FinePix F40fd, GE E1030, Nikon Coolpix S500, Olympus Stylus 760, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12, Pentax Optio A30, Samsung L700, and the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80." Just to confuse the issue...
Among your 3 choices, I think I'd choose the Casio EX-Z1050, based on specifications and reviews.

Check out Website dpreview.com It shows reviews of a good many cameras.
You might consider the Canon PowerShot A630. Takes AA batteries, is 8 megapixels, and 4X optical zoom
Also consider the Kodak EasyShare C875. It's an 8 megapixel camera with 5X optical zoom. It also takes AA batteries. I guess Casio makes an OK camera, but I still think of them as a company that makes calculators. Maybe I'm behind time.

you have to decide for yourself what features you need on a camwera and how big a camera you want. If you are going to take it everywhere with a purse, get a small light one.
Make sure it is 5 Mega pixel or higher
If it is run by AA batteries, they can be bought anywhere in the world. and the memory card depends on the particular camera, Buy the camera first, Extra memory card once you know which one is necessary
