I just read a creationist's book published in '07 but seemed to only repeat arguments long refuted.
Are there any new objections to evolution? Aside from it's not in the Bible/Quran, violates the 2nd law of thermodynamics, mutations are harmful, and irreducible complexity?

Eleventy, it doesn't matter. New objections are irrelevant if the old ones are still valid. What difference does it make that we still have amoeba? Or apes? It all depends on the person, whether they will fiercely believe a lie or not.

What about diseases? well do they evolue or become restaince? they do not change into another cell do they ? if have ants in back yard and spray to kill ants, next year would they still be ants? the arguement of common ancestor boils down to this at one time an ape like creature gave birth to both apes and humans. well we know it is immpossiple because of dna. the complexity of dna is showing how incuracte evolution is.

Creationism is in a rapid retreat, trying to find a few safe arguments that can't be be easily refuted. Mostly they're down to pointing out a few processes that are unlikely to be demonstrated in their lifetimes.

Arguments? You mean rhetoric. The latest one is something about bananas. Although having read some of the above responses I think half them are bananas.

You are so goofy. You really do not understand science, do you? As you say, all of the pathetic arguments that you have jumped on have long ago been refuted as religious claptrap. Why not grow up?

Evolutionist! That's the best argument there is. Attaching "ist" to a word.

Evolution is like a endless genealogy that never finally arrives at the first ancestor or first causal factor of all things because they refuse to accept the fact that in the begining God said "Let there be",and there was.

You forgot the "There's no conclusive evidence, so my own 'aliens cloned us' theory is just as valid" argument.

Mostly it comes down to "My parents couldn't have lied to me! It's just ridiculous to suggest! So evolution MUST be false or I'll have to question EVERYTHING and start THINKING!".
