HAHA! You're so right! I don't know though - it can be good AND bad, as I'm sure we're all well aware. There's no safety in the anonymity of Yahoo Answers - and I hope that the younger people who ask their questions about sex and bf/gf are getting answers from OTHER sources too - like their close friends and families. It can be terrifying to have to ask your mom about sex - but asking random strangers on the internet seems equally scary to me.

Old is only a state of mind.. How did we survive? The same way that mankind did centuries prior to the Internet. Perseverance,Discipline and a sheer will to secede . Yes Yahoo answers is a wonderful tool for getting advice to problems, But it isn't meant to replace life. And the way you phrased you question you may may have offended some people answering your response. As far as I'm concerned, Old is when your dead. I am young enough to be alive and old enough to know better..

Beats me- I'm not quite 'old' yet but I'm amazed but some of the homework questions. I mean, we all just had to do the research ourselves or ask a teacher for help, not troll for answers on the internet.

Isn't that the truth, the wealth of information available now simply wasn't when we were growning up...Kind of scary to think back about all of the crazy things our friends told us and those magazines portrayed to us.

Or without cell phones? Do you remember trying to figure out what movie you've seen an actor in without IMDB? Jesus... It's like we're the Jetsons now.

Ahh... but aren't you glad WE grew up and are able to answer those questions on Yahoo with integrity, intelligence, experience, and a good dose of common sense??? Can you imagine where society would be if they didn't have us old farts to set these young whippersnappers straight???

Jessica: In response to your comment about rudeness, that was only meant to stave off immature and unrelated comments from the hordes of pre-teens that seem to have infected the Singles and Dating area of Y!A

It is nice to have a connection on YA when you're unsure of yourself & to see that other people are just like you & me isn't it! But I wouldn't change a thing about the past!
