i recently broke up with a guy who i'ver been obsessed with for ages and for a while i was totally broken hearted. But recently i met a guy who i just have fun with. We dont really connect personality-wise but its just fun being with him. I dont know if that makes me slutty, i've never had this kind of a thing with a guy before. Does it make me slutty??! Any advice would be geat before i totally make an **** of myself!

There has to be some connection to him personality wise if you are having a great time with him! Don't worry so much about the connection aspect of everything--being obsessed didn't get you very far did it?? No it doesn't make you slutty--slutty is sleeping around on your BF, sleeping with several guys at one time and not having any respect for yourself. Have fun with this guy and enjoy life, who knows where you (or any of us) will be tomorrow. Having fun and making the most of your life is what is important!!! GoodLuck!!!

The dictionary describes slutty or slut as: "A person, especially a woman, considered sexually promiscuous". So unless you are sleeping around without any care for feelings and the other person's thoughts. Then no I don't think your being slutty. There is nothing wrong with being friends with a guy. Hell I have lots of guy friends and we have a great time without needing anything else. And all know we would never date each other. So live it up..guys are great to have as more than friends, friends and just the in between just make sure your making your feelings known and very present to him.

Slutty is being with several different guys over a short period of time. Slutty is allowing yourself to be used and abused sexually. Slutty is showing up at his office and flirting with his boss and co-workers. Slutty is not having a "special friend" you have fun with, unless it includes the whole batchlors party. Try having some self esteem and confidence in yourself. If you have been honest with this guy about where you are in the "relationship" you are in, there is no reason to feel bad. Just enjoy the friendship and be honest with yourself as well as him and you should be just fine.

It sounds to me like you're just on the rebound. You got with this guy because he takes your mind off the break up. That's not slutty but its not going to do you any good in the long run either. You're only burying your problems. This guy is just going to complicate your life even more- you don't even know what to think of yourself at this point. Anyways, don't get friendship confused for anything more. You can hang out with this guy and have a good time without hooking up. Besides if there's no emotional connection then why bother wasting any more time hanging out with him in that kind of way- nothing is going to come out of it. I say for now just take it easy, don't be with someone just for the sole fact that you don't want to be alone. There's plenty of other things you can do to get your mind off the break up and have yourself a good time. Don't allow yourself any less than you deserve. Good luck with everything.

No, not at all. It's perfectly ok to enjoy someone physically without being in a relationship with them. Sex is fun, and you shouldn't feel bad about having fun. I've had "friends with benefits" before and it's worked out well for both of us. We both got some pleasure, and were still free to do what we wanted without having to report to each other or worry about what the other person was doing.

You can have a friend with benefits and it doesn't make you slutty. If you are running all over the place dropping your drawers to every living thing- that would make you slutty. There is a fine line though, be careful!!

It sounds like you found a rebound. Have fun enjoy yourself. This guy that had you obsessed broke your heart. You put too much stock in him and ya lost, but now you have some one you like being with run with it. Just don't get attached to quick.

you just like the attention. It makes you feel better about not being with the other guy, cuz you don't think about him as much. This other guy is a rebound. Slutty persay...no, would I do it? NO but your not a slutt unless you sleep around, or with alot of different guys.

It all depends if you feel comfortable and if he really likes u. Like you said, "we don't connect personality-wise" To me that means it's a physical relationship and you shouldn't be in one unless you guys really like each other. Think about it: would you like to spend your life with him? I don't think so. Let's just say if you had a baby would he want to support it. Not sure? I don't think you are being slotty but you should probably think about how you are carrying yourself. Is it something you are proud of?
