You would know if you were miscarrying. It's a pain very different from 'growing pains'. The majority of growing pains vary from soft fluttering in your belly, to aches in your lower back from the strain (later in pregnancy). If you're experiencing severe pains, you should see your doctor ASAP or go to the local emergency ASAP. Miscarriages can often be prevented. Sitting at home worrying about it isnt going to save your unborn baby. Take it from someone who knows.

Growing pains? This term is usually used to describe aches and pains a child would have while growing. Not what a pregnant woman would have.

While pregnant I never had pains from my expanding belly.

I felt mild cramping between 16-17 weeks. I just figured it was ligaments/uterus stretching which it was.
