my ex and I broke up about 3 days ago because he claimed he didn't want to ruin my best friend and I relationship because we had got in an arguement. Which I know thats not the real reason he wanted to break up because he told he his friend a different story that isn't even a reason to break up either. I know he cares and still likes me for a fact, but he want open up and tell me. And then he'll say he is over me. How can anyone get over someone in 3 days unless they never cared, but I know he did. I just don't get this at all.

The reason I know he cared for me is because he treated me great unlike many other girls he dated, he never just wanted to go down on me, and he told all of his friends and his parents that he liked me a lot. I know you can say he might be lying, but he just always looked at me like he truly cared too. Just a day ago he told me he still really liked me but last night he goes I'm over you.

he lied to u. no one can get over someone that they "care" about in 3 days. hes just using you and your friends relationship as an excuse cause he doesn't wanna make himself look like a jerk.

It's easy to get over someone that quickly, in fact many men can do it with less time.
He doesn't need to open up to you since you are now the ex, and he doesn't need to tell you the real reason either. Just move on like he has, it will be better for both parties.
