It's not the end of the world nor did the Mayans say so.
It is the end of the world as we know it. Which only means there will be big changes.
Nothing earth shattering. hehe

LOL...well, first of all, a lie told many times only becomes the "truth" for people who are so intellectually inferior that they've never even taught themselves to think.
It's like "Global warming is a myth." Well, not if the preponderance of evidence demonstrates conclusively that it's happening. Rednecks can channel oil industry lobbyists all they want, but it doesn't alter the facts.
But anyway. By "2012" you must be referring to the "Mayan calendar" nonsense. Well, you may as well believe that Nostradamus predicted Hitler, or that every newspaper headline is a fulfillment of prophecy in Revelations. Quite a few books have been written on the subject of 2012, and they're all complete rubbish. Either the aliens who visited the Maya are returning, or the Earth's magnetic field is reversing, or it's the advent of the "third antichrist," or whatever. The most alarming aspect of 2012 in my opinion is that people outside of lunatic asylums are taken in by the hype surrounding it.

The question may be, if enough people believe in the information about 2012 will we cause it to happen?
I just finished 'Apocalypse 2012', interesting book. Mainly from a scientific perspective though.
The likelyhood of another major natural huge catastrophy on earth is good. A question of when and not if. Does any man know when it is going to happen? I don't know. But shouldn't we all just live every day to its fullest and enjoy the life we have been given.
If 2012 is the date things change, so be it. Until then live, love and cling to the Truth.

I believe that it could be any year. But if you are talking about 'the end of the world', then no. There is too much time left according to prophecy in the bible. There is the Millenium and the Great Tribulation still left to go.

I am not going to concern myself with it. Whenever it happens, it happens. I believe that someday Jesus will come, but when that day is no one knows...and I don't think it'll be in 2012...since the Aztecs predicted that day.
