the stock head unit used both of them but the new aftermarket unit doent use both of them. i also had to bypass my stock amp to get the speakers to work the din cable does not fit my new unit.

Factory systems with two antenna inputs are usually "diversity" tuning systems. This means that they're connected to two different antennas of different sizes, and the system automatically uses the one with the best signal. After-market decks aren't equipped for this, so if you replace the deck just use the larger of the two antenna plugs.

Its for plugging in external devices, such as an MP3 player, Ipod, Sattelite Radio etc.

it is the second antenna in your vehicle it is in the back window under the defroster you don't need that
