How old is your friend? Did you mention the car he's driving is unregistered? Police can't get to your call right away, They have a priority list that they respond to. If the call is life threatening, It is responded to quickly. If not, it is placed below those that are and will get to it as soon as possible. Are you an idiot for caring about a friend? If you are, Then there a lot of idiots out there for caring and doing the right thing for there friends. At the time you weren't certain if he was just going to be a Friend and get her away from a bad influence. ( the drug addict boyfriend.) Now it seems your having second thoughts about introducing them. Do you think that he is bad for her? Or is it something else? I can't answer that part of your question. I hope that helped. Best of luck..

Well, I don't think you knew she was wanting to date him when you introduced them or, I would hope you wouldn't introduce them. The police often do take a long time to respond to reports such as these but it will be taken care of. If you are that concerned, keep calling them. Bug them until they take care of business. Other than that, I am not sure what else you can do. She will see him if she wants to see him unless the law gets involved. Have you told her dad? If not, maybe you should. Her mom obviously is too preoccupied to care. I am sure her dad will take some kind of action in this case too.

Relax. You are not an idiot, and certainly not a psychic that can foresee the future. ;-)
1) It is not a crime, so no need for the police.
2) She obviously just used you, or at least you see it that way, which makes no difference... it's her life and it's time for you to step out of it, since you feel uncomfortable enough already. If she's enjoying it, just give her a friendly advice (which she will probably not listen to anyway), and leave them to their own thing.

Yes, I'd safely say you're an idiot. You don't say how old she is either. If under legal age, the guy can be said to be a molester or statutory rapist. Convince her that she's doing wrong, both with this guy and the addict, and she can only have nothing good from either.

so your mum's friend is letting your friend date this guy even if your friend's mum knows the guy is a drug addict and abusive person? i don't get it. and besides, unless your friend has been missing for 3 days, then the police won't do anything about it. don't blame yourself for introducing this guy and your friend, you only introduced them. you didn't force your friend to go out with this guy. when you see your friend, explain to her your concerns. hopefully she'll see what's wrong with the picture.

WELL FOR ONE IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT FOR THE
DECISIONS OF ANOTHER PERSON. ATLEAST
NOW YOU WILL KNOW NEXT TIME TO THINK
OF A POSSIBLE OUTCOME OF SOMEONE WHO
YOU THINK IS NOT RIGHT FOR SOMEONE ELSE.
THAT PERSON CHOSE TO BE IN THAT SITUATION.
YOU DID NOT CHOOSE THAT DECISION FOR
THAT PERSON. SO DO NOT BE SO HARD ON
YOURSELF. AND HONESTLY I THINK THE LAW
CAN NOT DO TO MUCH. THERE IS NO HARM
BEING DONE AT THE MOMENT. ALTHOUGH
I UNDERSTAND SHE IS UNDERAGE FOR THIS
GUY. AND ONCE AGAIN SHE CHOSE THIS NOT
YOU. JUST HOPE AND PRAY THERE WILL BE
NO HARM DONE. AND NEXT TIME YOU WILL
THINK BEFORE YOU REACT..........

not your fault at all. you are being a true friend by trying to help her.
maybe you should call her father and tell him. atleast if he knew, he could stop the boyfriend from killing her in a car accident or something.
